1/ Nursery Admissions
We also have a highly successful Nursery which admits children in either morning or afternoon or full time places.
Your options are:
Morning places - 08.30 to 11.30 - 15 hours per week funded by the local authority
Afternoon places - 12.30 to 15.30 - 15 hours per week funded by the local authority
Full day places - 08.30 to 15.30 - 15 hours per week funded by the local authority, with the further 20 hours (including hot lunch provision) chargeable to parents at £110 per week.
Please note we do not currently offer the 30 hours provision. However you are still welcome to take full days with us. You can choose between 1 to 5 full days if you wish. Each full day session is charged at £22 which covers the additional 4 hours which are not funded by the local authority. This additional cost is in line with the charging made by other local schools, inclusive of the 30 hours. We accept any and all childcare vouchers and encourage families paying for additional hours to use these.
You may find this calculator (click here) useful for working out what support you may be able to get with your childcare costs.
Our breakfast club is open to nursery children from 7.45am until 8.30am. Full time nursery children are also able to access on site wrap around care from 3.30pm to 6pm. Further information can be found HERE.
If you would like to apply for a Nursery place, please fill in the form below and return it to the school, along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
For further information including the admissions criteria please click here for the Achieving for Children Early Years admissions information. We adhere to the admissions criteria listed within the brochure but do please note that the link refers to an admissions deadline, however, we continue to admit children to our nursery as long as we have spaces and they have reached their 3rd birthday.
We have a twitter page which will give you a good idea of the school ethos: https://twitter.com/MeadlandsSch
2/ Primary School Admissions
We are a one-form-entry primary school set in the heart of the Ham community. We admit 30 children per year into our Reception class. As a community primary school we follow the London Borough of Richmond admissions policy and procedures. To find out more about these, and about applying for a Reception Class place for September 2023, please click here. From the 1st September 2022 the online applications are open.
Occasionally, Richmond Admissions can request that we go above our normal class size of 30. This only happens in exceptional circumstances, and if the need arises our school ensures that the admission takes place as smoothly as possible.
If you have any questions whatsoever regarding school admissions, please either contact the School Office on 020 8940 9207, or the London Borough of Richmond Admissions Team on 020 8547 5569. email: richmond.admissions@achievingforchildren.org.uk
