Step 2 demonstrates what a child needs to achieve and be fluent at to be working at the Meadlands expected standard.

Preparation for the multiplication check (MTC)  

To support children in preparing for the Multiplication Check any daily practice of times tables will help them with their fluency and speed.

Times Table Rockstar –The ‘Sound check’ game on Times Table rock star mimics the Multiplication Test Check, so children will be practising without even knowing it.
