At Meadlands, our “Work Hard & Be Kind” motto extends to helping others and we support many different charities during the school year.
Our charity this year (2021 - 2022) is 'Spear' which is a charity for people experiencing homelessness in South-West London. The build communities in which everyone has a place

£650 for our main school charity Born too Soon
£204 for Save the Children through our Christmas Jumper Day
£198 for Red Nose day
In 2019 - 2020 we raised:
£148 for our main school charity JDFR (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation LTD)
£415 for our other main school charity The Born Free Foundation which helps wild animals
£46 for Cancer Research. £1 from each school photo purchased was donated to Cancer Research
£123 for Save the Children through our Christmas Jumper Day
£971 for Bush Fire Charity through our Australian day
Donated 2,096kg of food to the local food bank
In 2018-19, we raised over £500 for Momentum Children's Charity and Battersea Dogs’ Home. However, we also support national events such as Children in Need, Comic Relief and Sports relief. Other good causes we have recently raised money for include the following:
We have raised £100 to support funds to buy a new minibus that the local schools and children's clubs can use and we are proud to continue to support our friends at RUILS. Staff compete in running and 'tough mudder' events in support of RUILS and the children have raised further money through events held at school.
