Preparation for the multiplication check (MTC)  

To support children in preparing for the Multiplication Check any daily practice of times tables will help them with their fluency and speed.

Times Table Rockstar –The ‘Sound check’ game on Times Table rock star mimics the Multiplication Test Check, so children will be practising without even knowing it.

Part 3: Work Expectations.

Part 4: Blended Learning 

If your child is absent but waiting for a coronavirus test result to return to school or having to self isolate due to symptomatic household members, then they can access school work on their class page right here! Work will be uploaded every Monday morning. Children are expected to follow the timetable and complete the lessons in their Meadlands-at-Home books, returning these to their class teacher, once they are able to return to school.

If the class or school is having to isolate we will be in touch with you regarding how to access the Google Classroom learning.

From the 5th January 2021 school will be closed

and we will be starting Meadlands-at-Home.

Year 4, to access your work you will need to log on to the Year 4 Google Classroom. You can do this by signing into your Meadlands Google account. Click here

Whilst at home we would still like you to keep fit and healthy. We would like you to complete Mr Penberthy's 30 minute whole school workout, do 1 a day whilst at home: PE Page

Week beginning 14.12.20

Parents and Carers of children in Year 4. Mrs Bruce will set work for each day via Google Classroom. The children will receive the day of work by 9am with instructions and activities. Please make sure you oversee the work and ensure all is completed to the standard seen in their books.

The children have the access to directly message Mrs Bruce via Google Classroom about their work, if you have any questions please email Mrs Bruce and she will do her best to reply to you.
