2018 - 2019
The children are the most important people in the school and therefore Pupil Voice is an essential aspect of school life. Children are encouraged to take part and be involved in leading the school by listening to them we have made changes to policy and processes and ensured our school is the best it can be.
There are a wide range of ways that children can get involved in school leadership. We have our Junior Leadership Team (please refer to the JLT page of this website), Class Ambassadors and House Captains. We also run a weekly School Magazine Club - the reports and journalists are everywhere, capturing the latest news and stories across the school. It's a great read and can be found right here:
Journalism club meet every Monday after school. They have worked hard investigating, interviewing, writing, re-drafting and publishing articles for a school magazine. Led by Chief -Editor Niamh McIntyre the children have worked well as a team with representatives from Year 1 to Year 6. Click on pdf below.
Each class has an ambassador/ ambassadors who is/are nominated by the teacher and the children. A Class Ambassador is an important job and involves showing visitors around the school, showing visitors school books and displays. Class Ambassadors also help at special school events.
