Guinness Skipping World Record Attempt at Meadlands

Last Thursday 30th April 2009 children from Meadlands attempted to break a world record. Joining with over 18,000 other skippers across the UK, the children skipped for three minutes at 11am.

Whilst official confirmation from Guinness will take a number of weeks, Rob Meakin congratulated all the children at Meadlands who took part, ‘Well done everyone on a super effort! Thanks too to Mrs. Howard for organizing the event at Meadlands. Fingers crossed that we have broken the world record!’
