School Council

Representatives elected from each class meet with the Headteacher and a member of staff each half term to discuss issues raised by the children. These have included providing additional playground games, developing our Wildlife Area and the addition of shaded seating in the playground.

The children's ideas and concerns are always taken seriously, with funding allocated by the governors to meet some of the needs identified. When we are planning any new development we always try to incorporate their ideas.

The older members of the School Council also participate in the Richmond Pupil Parliament, taking forward some of our school and local concerns to discuss with other children from Richmond schools.
