Charity

2016 - 2017

Each year the children select a charity to support.  In the past two years we have raised over £5000 for charities important to our children.  These have included Princess Alice Hospice, Syrian Refugees, NSPCC and Missing People.  We also support national events such as Comic Relief, Sports Relief and Children in Need.  The Junior Leadership Team are heavily involved in organising fundraising events and these have included a staff ice bucket challenge, movie nights, Friday playtime biscuit sale, mufti days and summer fair stalls.

Our new charity for 2016/17 is RUILS.

London-Brighton Cycle Ride raising money for the British Heart Foundation

On Tuesday 24 November 2015 Nursery and Reception took part in a sponsored fire engine wash. We were visited by a fire engine from Kingston Fire Station, who parked in our playground and very kindly allowed us to wash the engine for them! We collected sponges and buckets and worked really hard to get it as clean as possible and even got to have a go at using the hose to rinse it off! We did a brilliant job and had lots of fun!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the friends and families of the children who sponsored us, with particular mention to Oscar  in Nursery who raised £180.00 alone, and Macey Blackwell in reception who raised over £50. Altogether we raised a grand total of £597.65 which will buy us some brand new equipment for our outdoor areas. We will be sure to let you know what we buy in the new year!
